What Services Do We Offer?

Camping Accidents

You expect to be safe when you go camping. Yet when a campground is poorly maintained, it can create a labyrinth of hazards that can result in serious injuries. If we can prove the campground owner or a staff member was negligent we can generally secure compensation for your injuries, lost wages, pain, and suffering.

In addition, if your camping equipment was faulty, suffered from false advertising, or was unsafe then we may be able to press a product liability claim on your behalf

Hunting and Fishing Accidents

Shot by another hunter while you had a deer in your sights? Injured because another hunter failed to maintain their equipment properly? Injured by faulty hunting equipment? Caught by a hook while a negligent party executes an irresponsible cast?

Hunting and fishing injuries can be especially traumatic and can offer lifelong consequences. Find out how we can help you get compensation for these injuries

Slip and Fall Accidents

Slip and Fall cases are also known as Occupier’s Liability cases. A property owner has a duty to anyone who might come to their property, be it a customer, a vendor, or a visitor. They required to maintain their property in line with reasonable safety standards.

While violations of this law often result in slips, trip, and fall accidents, it also covers other accidents where a maintenance failure causes an accident. This could include electrocutions, falling objects, mold injuries, safety violations, and more

Boating Accidents

Injured by a boater who was drinking while operating a watercraft? Involved in a boating class wherein the boater did not follow the law? If you were injured because another watercraft failed to exercise reasonable care then we can launch a personal injury case on your behalf.

We can even help you out in cases where you did not collide with the boat itself, but with another boat’s wake

Frequently Asked Questions

We have received a list of questions that are asked frequently by the clients. Read them if you also have any doubts that you want to clear regarding these questions:

Saskatchewan is a no-fault province. Car accidents, truck accidents, and motorcycle accidents are handled by SGI. You must report your accident online using their Auto eClaim registration service, and then contact your local injury claims center for additional help. The law no longer allows us to pursue lawsuits for these cases.

There are four types of damages that may be recovered in a Saskatchewan personal injury case.

Economic damages include financial losses for medical expenses, lost wages, and loss of earning capacity.

Specific damages compensate you for expenses such as rehabilitation costs, necessary home modifications, and vehicle repairs.

Non-economic damages include awards for pain and suffering. These damages are meant to compensate you for your emotional distress, as well as for the loss of life enjoyment that many suffer after a severe or catastrophic accident.

Punitive damages are not awarded in every personal injury case, but may be available in your case if the defendant acted in a way that was illegal, maliciously negligent, or unusually and unforgivably negligent. As the name implies, punitive damages exist to punish the defendant and deter such behavior in the future.

Your lawyer will have to prove four things are true. First, he must prove that the defendant had a duty of care towards you, that is, a legal obligation to take reasonable care to prevent harm to you and others. Second, he must prove that the defendant failed in that duty. Third, these actions caused your injuries. Fourth, you suffered damages as a result of this negligence.

As your personal injury lawyer, Michael Mantyka will help you gather the essential evidence you will need to prove and present your claims.

You have just two years from the date of the accident to file a personal injury claim. If you fail to do so, you will be barred from pursuing your claim forever.

There are some exceptions to this rule, but the truth is it’s better to act fast. Involving a personal injury lawyer quickly can ensure that your lawyer can secure vital evidence, prevent you or your loved ones from making important mistakes, and protect you from the types of dirty tricks that defendants and their insurance companies like to play.

You won’t have to pay any money out of pocket. We work on contingency, which means we don’t get paid until we bring your case to a successful conclusion. When you meet with us we’ll discuss our fee structure and what that might look like when your case is complete.
